How does the Scorpion separator work?
The Scorpion separator uses an oscillating motion, which, combined with appropriately selected screens, allows precise separation of raw material into different fractions. The machine comes with 3 sieves, which allow the separation of raw material into 4 fractions. For fine fractions it is recommended to use double sand screens with rubber balls, which facilitate the cleaning process, while for larger fractions perforated sheet metal screens are ideal.
Bagging system:
The Scorpion separator is equipped with convenient bagging machines that facilitate the collection of individual fractions of raw material. The finest fraction (e.g., less than 0.315 mm) goes into a dust bag, while fractions with larger granulation (e.g., 0.315 mm to 2.0 mm) are collected in separate bags. The oversize (top fraction) goes into a fourth bag or, in the case of an automatic system, can be directed via a feeder to a rotational cutter for reshredding and rescreening.
